Annual Gunfighter Event June 9, 2018

Gunfights have left a lasting impression on American frontier history. We have read about them in our history books and they have been retold and passed down for generations. Some stories have been embellished over time.  The most notable shootouts took place in Arizona and New Mexico. We are fortunate enough here in the Town of Gabriella to be living on the border of Arizona and New Mexico and thus, be able to draw in reenactor  groups from both states to come out to Gabriella and perform for us at the Annual Gunfighter Event happening this coming summer 2018. Some gunfights like the Gunfight at the O.K. Corral in Tombstone, Arizona were the result of long-simmering feuds and rivalries but most of the gunfights were simply confrontations between the outlaws and the law enforcement.

Here at the Town of Gabriella we wish to bring the Ol’ Wild West back alive and invite reenactor groups out here to perform for good folks like yourselves and show us what it may have been like during the old wild west days. We promise to keep it family-friendly so please bring your little cowpokes out for some good times and be sure to take a stagecoach ride through town and grab some grub from one of our food vendors and don’t you worry about bitin’ off more’n you can chew, ’cause your mouth is probably a whole lot bigger’n you think, so c’mon down and enjoy the festivities.  We promise to make it worthwhile!

For more information, visit our upcoming events page to see where you can purchase your tickets, ’cause we sure would love to see you and your wee’ ones there.
